On December 9, 1985, the president of the court, Dr. León Carlos Arslanián, read the verdict of the Trial of the Military Juntas. This verdict confirmed the notion of a systematic plan, justified the evidentiary force of the witnesses and disqualified the arguments of the defense. However, it did not maintain the criterion of co-responsibility, maintaining the responsibility for the weapon, which led to the separation of individual responsibilities. Hence, the sentences were less than the penalties requested by the prosecutor in his argument.
