TREKKING ON THE HILLS OF CHIATRI STABBIANO AND THE CERTOSA DI FARNETA In this walk of the mycological group Massimiliano Danesi of Ponte a Moriano we take you on an undemanding route, which winds through a peaceful and quiet hilly landscape, with a difference in altitude of about 300 400 meters for about 14 km. The path runs high up parallel to the highway, then begins to climb up to the Monti di Chiatri area. We then descend to the Prato Verde Restaurant and from there, we reach the Church of Stabbiano, where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we continue on the road, then descend into an old and bumpy mule track to a house that we go around, the road gets better, and continuing to descend, we arrive at the Certosa di Farneta, of which we follow the perimeter wall to the entrance, on the right, of the road that leads to the church, we pass it until we close the circular route returning to the cars.
