The Morocco Rally has its own specifics: lots of rocks on the stages, dunes, sleeping in tents in the desert, long drives between stages (up to 600-700 km in total), which makes this rally one of the most exhausting and demanding, both for people and cars. It is not without reason that the same competitors who will be racing in the Dakar Rally in a few months meet here. For me, it is a symbolic rally, with which I have unsettled scores. It was here that I had an accident 10 years ago that eliminated me from my sports career. I am coming back to finish this rally. I have 2,500 km ahead of me, including 1,400-1,500 km of special stages. As is usually the case on my expeditions, this trip was also full of adventures, including a downpour that caused one of the mountain rivers to overflow its banks, effectively cutting off several teams.
