The auto transformer is a device that transforms the electrical current, it serves to meet the needs of an equipment or electrical network. With an auto transformer, you can connect the 220V device to the 110V socket or connect the 110V device to the 220V socket. In other words, it makes it possible for you to use an electronic device if you do not have an outlet in your home with the same voltage as the device.
