On November 16th, 2022, there was probably a unique transfer of three Harz camels across the Harz. The reason for this was a recently expired deadline for the diesel locomotive Br.199 874 and the Br.199 892, which has been out of service since 1991, which are due to undergo a major inspection in Stendal. For this purpose, both locomotives were transferred without a valid deadline with the help of the diesel locomotive, Br.199 861, and the HSB relief train from Wernigerode to Nordhausen, where they were then converted to standard gauge. The gauge conversion took place on November 17th, 2022, and that evening, with the help of the press, the 199 874 and the 199 892 went to Stendal, where they are now getting a new major inspection.
