In this video, Vilmar transfers the spectacular Borá bee (Tetragona clavipes), this time from a gallon to an inpa box. At the beginning of the video, Vilmar talks a little about the honey of this species, here more than 2L of honey was collected from a single Borá honeycomb, which is being matured in a bottle with an airlock valve. This is because the honey of Stingless Bees is a living food that ferments naturally, thus releasing gases from this biological reaction (very soon we will upload a video talking about this process in more detail). So, from the management and transfers done here on the Channel, we expect to harvest a lot of Borá honey from these boxes by the end of the year.
