EN: Ride along the entire route of tram line 50 in Krakow on the Borek Fałęcki - Górka Narodowa (P+R) route. The line runs along the newest section of tracks built in Krakow and through two tunnels. The line was opened on 4.09.2023. Together with the new routes in Wrocław and Toruń, it is currently the newest tram line in Poland. 5.5 km of new tracks have been put into use, running along the streets: Pachońskiego - Siewna - Bociana to the Górka Narodowa (P+R) loop, as well as 7 new stops. The investment awaits the completion of the construction of an integrated transfer hub in Górka Narodowa: a two-level car park (Park and Ride) with a bus terminal and a tram loop. For now, trams arrive here and turn back without passengers, who can get on at the Papierni Prądnickich stop. Tram lines 18 and 50 run along the new section of tracks. Line 50 has a route of about 20 km with 35 stops. The route runs according to schedule in about 54 minutes. I have included more information in the subtitles displayed in the film (the function is active after clicking on the bar at the bottom of the film). Kraków is the second largest city in Poland in terms of population (803 thousand inhabitants). Electric trams were launched here in 1901. It is one of 15 cities in Poland with its own tram network.
