Petra has successfully completed her training as a plumbing, heating, air conditioning (SHK) system mechanic and is now a journeyman. In the #workstories series, she and other trainees report on their everyday work. How were the first few weeks in the company? How do they imagine their career path? What do they particularly like about the training (or maybe not so much)? And what do you actually do as a plumbing, heating, air conditioning, or vessel and equipment builder? They also have tips on how everyone can find the right training for themselves and why training in the SHK trade is a good decision for the future. Not only is the topic of sustainability (keyword "climate goals") an integral part of the job description here, but the professions are also simply crisis-proof. For example, the SHK trade continued to work during the corona pandemic when many other professions were no longer allowed to do so.
