Aeropuerto T4 is a Madrid Metro and Cercanías station located in the terminal. It was built after the civil works of the Airport were finished, although the first Metro trains began to arrive at this station on May 3, 2007. Later, Cercanías trains began to circulate through this station on September 22, 2011. Both the Metro and the Cercanías have the same characteristics: 1 central platform, going up to the hall and an entrance. The station is accessible for people with reduced mobility, having 4 elevators in total. To leave the Metro station, you have to pay an additional fee of 3 euros. In Cercanías, there is no additional fee, but it is in zone B2 for pricing purposes. All this is due to the fact that the tunnels were built by a private company.
