Tracing the Traces of Indonesian Descendants from Bawean Island in the Midst of the Magnificent City of Vietnam The Bawean people are one of the tribes in Indonesia who originate from Bawean Island, Gresik, East Java. The Bawean tribe is known to like to migrate, even abroad. In addition to migrating to Singapore and Malaysia, many Bawean people also migrate to Vietnam. In Vietnam, the number of Bawean people descendants even reaches hundreds. They live in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. When we went there, all of them could not speak Bawean, and they did not know exactly where Bawean Island was located, which is their ancestor, but when we went there, we tried to introduce the location of Bawean Island.
