TOUCHING FILM! TEACHER GETS A PUPPY DESPITE HIS WIFE'S PROTESTS! My Hachiko! Russian film Chongqing, early 2000s. During a trip out of town with colleagues, an elderly university teacher Chen picks up a dirty and frightened puppy on the road. No one agrees to take the dog, so the man has to secretly bring him home, although his wife hates dogs. Having promised to find a new home for the puppy, Chen nevertheless refuses all applicants - so the dog gets the nickname Hachiko and becomes a new member of the family.
