Actors Nakamura Toru and Tachi Hiroshi are returning to detective dramas. With flashy car and gun action galore, many will be reminded of the legendary detective drama "Abunai Deka." The drama in which the two will star is called "Farewell, Guns: The Metropolitan Police Department Special Gun Unit." The director is Katsuyuki Motohiro, who worked on "Bayside Shakedown," making it a dream combination. This work is a drama adaptation of the original idea by writer Ubukata Tou, directed by Motohiro. Set in a Japan where guns are rampant and public safety has deteriorated significantly, the story follows the Metropolitan Police Department Special Gun Unit (commonly known as SGU), which has been granted permission to use firearms and explosives as an extralegal measure, as they take on violent criminals.
