Practical example on how to obtain a terrain profile from a topographic plan. Script: 1) Choose a cutting alignment of interest; 2) marks the intersections between the cut and the contour lines; 3) with the help of leader lines, we pull the marked intersection points to the respective level; 4) we connect the dots and thus obtain the terrain profile.
