With just over 40 thousand inhabitants, it is of tourist importance to the state due to its rich historical center and many beaches, parks and leisure areas. Tourists who choose the city as a travel destination have no problems getting to this region. That's because São Francisco do Sul is less than 50 kilometers from Joinville airport, which receives daily flights from Azul and Gol. You can also land at Navegantes Airport, about 100 kilometers away, or in Florianópolis, which is a little further away, about 170 kilometers. From these cities, you can travel by transfer, bus or rental car. If you prefer, in Joinville, you can take the ferry boat. 235 - Ervino Beach Starting our summary from the south coast to the north, we begin at Ervino Beach, which borders the Barra do Sul resort to the south. Ervino Beach, over 30 kilometers long, enchants with the bucolic landscape of its natural corners. The accelerated urban development, which has worsened in recent years, has not yet been able to take away Ervino Beach's status as a wild paradise. On the road that connects the place to the highway, there are 14 kilometers of well-preserved nature, it is almost possible to imagine what lies ahead. Asphalt paving has recently arrived at Ervino Beach, which was paved in 2014. The bucolic landscapes and the almost non-existence of houses on both sides of the road are responsible for attracting the attention of visitors. Little by little, Ervino Beach has been conquered by vacationers from Joinville, Jaraguá do Sul, Blumenau, the region and Paraná, who come in search of peace and quiet. Ahead, they find no less than 30 kilometers of beach and natural beauty on all sides. The dense vegetation is a true invitation for visitors who enjoy exploring new discoveries. 236 – Praia Grande Praia Grande is located 20 km from the Historic Center of the Municipality of São Francisco do Sul and can be accessed via the SC-301, which also provides access to other resorts. With an almost untouched nature, Praia Grande begins right after the sambaquis located at Praia da Saudade (Prainha) and extends to the border with Balneário Barra do Sul. At the beginning of this beach there are vacation homes and the rocks form a small cove with a slightly calmer sea. There are lifeguards and kiosks that sell snacks and appetizers and a hamburger joint. But if you continue along the seaside road, the beach soon becomes deserted, with no houses or infrastructure and beautiful dunes. 237 – Prainha or Praia da Saudade Its name is Praia da Saudade, but it became popular as prainha and today it is very well known by that term. Saudade is the surfing hub of São Sebastião do Sul, as it hosts the main surfing championships, which is why surfers from both inside and outside the region flock to the place. In addition to surfing, it is known for having very popular bars, which attracts a large number of young people during and outside the season. That is why it is worth getting to know every corner of Praia da Saudade, a beach that is busy 24 hours a day, without giving you a break for even a minute. 238 – Praia da Enseada Praia da Enseada is a very long beach, about 3 kilometers long. And besides being wide, of all the resorts there, it is the one with the best infrastructure in terms of service. But where is this beauty? It is only 20 kilometers from the center, with calm seas and few waves, making it a frequent visit for families, since with children on the beach you need to be extra careful, right?
