TO HEAR YOURSELF TAKING MATE (Gujo Teixeira and Luciano Maia) Special appearances Luiz Marenco and Michel Teló Luciano Maia and Gujo Teixeira release the song “Pra se Ouvir taking mate” With lyrics by the poet Gujo Teixeira and melody by Luciano Maia, one of the most respected accordionists from the South of Brazil, “Pra se Ouvir Taking Mate” is a milonga launched with the purpose of making that moment of sipping chimarrão even more special. The song has a regionalist theme, however, with a universal nature. It opens up space to welcome friends from “Rio Grande”, such as Luiz Marenco, and also from outside, such as country singer Michel Teló. “To hear yourself taking mate” is a new song and will be the first track on the album of the same name, which will be released later by Luciano Maia and Gujo Teixeira. The work will have a repertoire of dense compositions, calm melodies and deep lyrics. Without a doubt, an album to listen to while drinking chimarrão.
