Nicolò Balini, aka Human Safari, has managed to combine two passions: photography and travel. Although he has already visited 83 countries in the world, he has only recently managed to break down some limits and after numerous adventures. He will tell us how he did it and what are the secrets to truly enjoying a trip. Nicolò Balini is a 28-year-old photographer and videomaker, born in Bergamo but a child of the world by adoption. Nicolò creates videos to tell his adventures around the world on YouTube: he opened his channel "Human Safari" in 2012 and today has become a point of reference for the travel sector of the platform, with more than 800,000 registered users. The combination of passion, ability and curiosity have also pushed him to create a tour operator to take his members on trips with him. He collaborates with tourism boards, airlines and companies related to the travel world, but continues to travel for pure passion when he is not traveling for work. He has only taken his backpack off his shoulders once in recent years, and that was to carry the Olympic torch at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
