Recommended by many, it was finally time to know what was one of the richest cities in our country. The city of Azul is located in the heart of the province of Buenos Aires and is the capital of the Azul district. Many aristocratic families left a legacy of amazing buildings that stand out throughout the province. Spectacular houses beautify this corner of our beloved Pampas plain and take us back to times of splendor. Two of the most important legacies were in architecture and culture. The architect and engineer Francisco Salamone left a very important mark when he designed the portal of the cemetery of the city of Azul (a cemetery that separately buried those who committed suicide, murderers, prostitutes, pedophiles and led lives far from religion in ancient times), the central square, the portal to the municipal park, the slaughterhouse (which we were not able to see) and a cross at the entrance. On the other hand, Bartolomé Ronco left the city an immense collection of books in his library thanks to which Azul obtained the title of Cervantine city thanks to having one of the most important collections of Don Quixote de la Mancha books in the world, as well as a collection of the emblematic Martín Fierro by José Hernández. Did I tell you that with this video, we already knew all the portals of the Salamone cemetery? Let's celebrate with this video about one of the most interesting cities in the province of Buenos Aires!
