In 'This is my life' both ordinary and remarkable people from the region of The Hague and surroundings are portrayed. Episode 1: Gerda Arkesteijn (52) has an active life. However, for a few years now she has been diagnosed with Young Dementia, which means that symptoms of diseases such as Alzheimer's already manifest themselves before the age of 65. This is the case with Gerda. In this episode she tells in a special and musical way what enormous consequences this disease has for her and her family.
