AB Volvo will increase its market share in the US to 25 percent, from the current 15 percent. This is what Martin Lundstedt, CEO of AB Volvo, tells EFN in connection with the company's capital market day in Dublin, USA. Today, AB Volvo has 15 percent of the American truck market, divided between 9 percent for Volvo and just over 6 percent for wholly owned Mack Trucks. But now the ambition is to take more market shares - and a big one. By 2030, the group's market share must be 25 percent. - It won't be a quick fix, but now we have all the parameters in place.
