The Bundeswehr is to be ready for war by 2029. This means that it should be able to successfully repel a potential Russian attack. In cooperation with our NATO allies, of course. This goal therefore also applies to the smallest branch of the Bundeswehr, the German Navy. Since a quantitative increase in such a short period of time is hardly feasible, the Navy is planning to increase the combat power of the existing fleet.
