I didn't grow up wanting to be a traveler. Everything has a beginning, and my life as a nomadic backpacker had one too. Several things happened when in 2017, at just 20 years old, I decided to apply for an exchange through the university to the country of Chile, which was later granted. That was just the beginning, but not the reason why I ended up traveling throughout Latin America for 5 years in a row. A story that seems like a novel but is as true as it is beautiful. A city and a person who changed everything. Valparaíso will always be part of my heart and my story as the place where it all began. Here I leave you with the story of how a boy with a normal life who didn't know what to do with his life ended up selling candy on the beach and traveling across an entire continent hitchhiking.
