Let's enjoy the extensive dialogue that appears in the books, when he finds the Three Hunters in Fangorn. ------------------- SUMMARY: The Three Hunters discover that the mysterious old man of Fangorn is actually Gandalf, now transformed into Gandalf the White. At first, Gimli, Aragorn and Legolas are surprised and fearful, but they quickly recognize their friend. Gandalf explains that he has been through great trials and that his mission has changed. Speaking of Boromir, Gandalf mentions that although he fell under the influence of the Ring, he managed to redeem himself by protecting the hobbits. He also describes how Saruman, blinded by his ambition, has ignored the threat of Fangorn and the Ents, who are now awakening to confront Isengard. Finally, Gandalf advises the companions to head to Edoras, where war and great danger threaten Théoden. Gandalf takes the lead, and the companions decide to follow him, recognizing his power and wisdom. #thelordoftherings #tolkien #thetwotowers
