'Tha Din Daeng' is another old district that is a source of top food for people on the Thonburi side. Just 500 meters from the pier to Khlong San Road, there are more than 100 restaurants on both sides of the road together... In this clip, Uncle has collected the must-see restaurants that anyone who comes to the 'Tha Din Daeng' area must not miss!! 'Chua Kim Huat', the original braised goose in Thailand 'Tha Din Daeng Goose'... This old shop has been open for over 90 years. The braised goose here has less fat marbling, is not tough, and has a nice texture to chew. The braised sauce is a bit salty and creamy, with a classic aroma of spices. The taste is not too impressive. 'Jay Phueng Khao Kaeng', a rice and curry restaurant whose signature menu item won the Shell Chuan Chim award, is the 'pork leg'. What Uncle likes is the skin that they boil until it's springy and chewy like collagen. The smell of five-spice powder is not too strong, rather mellow, not overly sweet or salty. 'Wong Heng Pork Satay' or its former name 'Okee' is the legendary first pork satay shop in this area. The taste of the 'pork satay' here is intense, with a clear aroma of spices, soft, juicy, and not tough. Dip it with peanut sauce and fresh pickled vegetables, it's really awesome. 'Somsak Poo Ob', this shop is considered by uncle to be number 1 for baked crab in Thailand. The outstanding features are the well-rounded sauce, fresh, live crabs. You can choose between crab meat and crab eggs. What uncle likes the most is the glass noodles, which are specially ordered. The noodles are soft and chewy, do not absorb water, and do not stick together in lumps. 'Auntie Malai's Khao Gang', Chinese-style curry rice. The signature menu item is the 'Pork Panang' which is so popular that it sells out in just half an hour after the pot is placed!! 'Sister O's Candied Bananas', a variety of candied fruit menus. The star of this shop is 'Candied Taro' using sweet taro from Ban Mo, fragrant, delicious, not crumbly, topped with syrup and coconut milk, salty, oily, cutting the taste of 'Hoi Rang Luk Jae Pha', a legendary cockle shop in Wongwian Yai, famous for its fresh cockles, boiled just right, dipped in a spicy sauce, you can sit and eat happily. All of these are just a few of the great restaurants in this area. Let me tell you that you can walk and eat all day at Tha Din Daeng and it still won't be finished. If anyone has any other great restaurants in this area to recommend, try commenting and telling us. I'll come back again next time. —-— Chua Kim Huat Restaurant Open 8:00–17:00 Tel. 02 437 2427 https://maps.app.goo.gl/2sRVDS2eiaNTb...
