This is a story about thirteen tiaras that once belonged to the imperial family. After the revolution, the royal regalia that remained in the palaces were stored there for several years in ordinary boxes, unaccounted for by anyone. The new government simply had no time for them. Only in the 1920s did Lenin give the order to inventory and sort the valuables. This was done by a commission headed by Professor Fersman. A detailed catalog was compiled. The jewelry was photographed both individually and together. It is one of the general photos that we will analyze in this video. Specifically, the tiaras and diadems that were in the frame. Why not just look in Fersman's catalog, you ask! Because most of the copies of this catalog, published in a very small print run, will later be confiscated to hide the sale of national treasures. Only individual pages of the catalog have survived to this day. Nevertheless, most of the presented tiaras were still identified. Enjoy watching!
