ZPD Bałcyny is one of the farms belonging to the University of Warmia and Mazury. 44 people supervise the cultivation of 2,000 ha and the breeding of dairy and beef cattle, as well as experimental fields. The details are told to us by the president of the farm, Mieczysław Woźny, and the manager of animal production, Patrycja Rutkowska. As they both emphasize, investments in animal production are very much needed on the farm. This year, two arched halls have already been built, where calves are kept.
