After removing it, I noticed that the thermal pane was no longer properly glued. The two acrylic halves had stuck together. Apparently they were only connected with a thin double-sided adhesive tape. Now it dawned on me why water used to get into the pane when it rained, but fortunately nothing got into the interior. At first I was at a loss as I had no idea if and how it could be repaired. New panes are still available, but that should only be the last option. After some research I came up with an idea but see for yourself ...
