The fourth of June is also the day of national unity. In connection with this, Miklós Varga's long-awaited new studio album entitled Ébredés - after a hundred years of loneliness - was released. However, the songs are not about our national grievances. On the contrary, about the rebirth caused by Trianon, also referred to as the Hungarian miracle, about the will to live, the miracle of willpower that the Hungarian nation did in the decades following Trianon and is still doing today, sometimes in very strong European headwinds. About the will to live that brings this nation together again and keeps it together here in the Carpathian Basin and beyond, because we need each other to survive. With the completed new album, Miklós Varga strengthens this togetherness with the power of the songs. The publication includes 10 distinctly rock songs, 3 of which are brand new (Elveszett föld, 1956, Nem maradsz özünd), some of the rest were originally written in English, with Hungarian lyrics written by Tamás Toldi and Zsolt Jantyik. There are songs that were written before, but have not been made public until now (A láncz, Búcúzás ásti) and there is a song that has already been sung by many artists (Hátártalan song). The album features two "guest singers": Vivien Varga and Szabolcs Varga, with whom Miklós performs the song "A lánc" due to its theme. They also sang the vocals. Mr. Zsolt, the interpreter of English-language songs, also plays guitar in 4 songs. The studio instruments and other guitars were played by Norbert Szűcs, who is also the sound engineer and one of the musical directors of the completed CD. Péter Retzler, the old "warrior partner" is also featured on the album as author, music director and keyboard player.
