And the game is also very popular with YouTubers and Let's Players, even though you often just spend a long time stalking through nature. So what is it that fascinates players about this hunting game that sends us into forests in Germany and the USA to shoot unsuspecting animals? Christian Fritz Schneider puts this question to our ex-colleague and media educator Franz Philipp Dubberke, who played theHunter: Call of the Wild himself for over 43 hours on his Twitch channel FirleFranz and explains to newcomers in a YouTube tutorial what they need to look out for at the beginning. Franz is also the son of a hunter and therefore explains to us straight away why it is not ethical to shoot an animal in the head from a distance. Franz also brought us a few gameplay scenes from the PC version, but for a change there are also a few scenes from the trailers to see - so that we don't just spend 10 minutes running across a meadow.
