Photographs of the Lucerne-Hergiswil-Stans-Wolfenschiessen-Grafenort-Engelberg section of the Swiss meter-gauge adhesion/rack railway, which is operated by the Zentrallbahn (previously LSE Luzern Stans Engelberg Bahn) as part of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS). In 2024, shuttle trains will be used on the route during the day for express train services, powered by the HGe 4/4 II rack/adhesion locomotive of the former SBB Brünig Bahn. The trains usually consist of a modern three-part articulated low-floor control car and three or four standard cars from the predecessor railways LSE and Brünig Bahn. Regional traffic is covered by the Stadler articulated multiple units Spatz type ABe 4/8 (pure adhesion vehicle) and Fink ABeh 160 (3-part / rack / adhesion drive), which run between Lucerne, Stans and Wolfenschiessen. The recordings were made in May 2024 and partly in 2021. 00:00-02:48 Entry and exit Lucerne 02:48-07:07 between Horw and Hergiswil 07:07 between Stansstad and Stans 09:16-13:31 between Stans and Dallenwil 13:32-14:42 between Dallenwil, Wolfenschiessen and Grafenort 14:43-16:59 Engelberg 17:00-19:01 LSE historic railcar BDeh 4/4 No. 5 of the Lucerne Stans Engelberg Railway in Lucerne and Hergiswil
