This video is for solo travelers and seekers like me. Here I talk about the problems I encountered during a solo trip to the Amginsky ulus. Please note that this is still a central and developed area! I'm not even talking about the northern and remote ones 🤯🥶 In my opinion, Yakutia is one of the wildest places on Earth I've ever visited: no roads, no communications, no internet, no people, no heat, no drinking water or electricity in some places, lots of wandering bears running from fires 😢 The difficulty of traveling around Yakutia for a solo tourist is primarily in the absence of roads, and therefore no public transport, no buses or trains (except for nearby places and the direction to Khabarovsk), no car rental (only in the city of Yakutsk on asphalt). There are seasonal periods of total off-road conditions. There are few houses for rent, mostly for large groups. Since a single traveler in Yakutia is nonsense! 😱 I remember the surprised looks of people that I was traveling alone, they even wanted to give me a man for security 🤣 It follows that there are almost no rental houses for one or two people, mainly tourist centers and houses for large companies that come for 1 or 2 nights. There are usually no conditions for long-term stays. It is necessary to clarify all the little things and details: the presence of electricity, a refrigerator, linen, blankets, an electric (gas!) stove, a kettle, dishes, DRINKING WATER, etc. All amenities are outside, a bathhouse is a rarity, sometimes there is an outdoor shower (also check). Yakutia has a harsh climate, even in summer it is cold at night. Get ready for a cloud of mosquitoes, midges, horseflies 🦟 😬 The cost of renting tourist centers, houses does not correspond to the quality. Moscow prices are high, especially in the North (2-3 times higher than in Moscow), but there are no conditions for rest. For example, in India, Nepal, Thailand and other Asian countries for this price you can rent a good room or a house with all the amenities with a view of the ocean. I also encountered a careless and indifferent attitude of the local people themselves, their lack of interest in providing quality service. Landlords can leave you to your fate, not get in touch, be rude, as happened to me when I was left without communication, electricity, food, heat for two days and NO WAY TO GET OUT. I went to tourist centers 2-3 km away and asked who could give me a ride. Many refused. When I asked Novgorodova O.V., from whom I rented in the village of Bulun, she answered: go to the road 5 km away with your things and catch a car. Let me remind you, in the taiga, where there are many bears and few cars drive✊🏻👌🏻🤣 There was a case when I started asking more detailed questions about the conditions at the tourist center from another tourist center lessor, Gogolev H. A. just got rude and hung up. I can’t say for sure what this is connected with. With this video, I just want to warn those people who are going to visit or explore Yakutia. This is my subjective view and my experience.
