It is hard for people outside Hokkaido to get a sense of the size of Hokkaido. In fact, when people from outside Hokkaido plan a two-day, one-night trip to Hokkaido, it is not uncommon for the itinerary to end up full of things to criticize. So, to help people get a sense of the size of Hokkaido, we visited all 127 roadside stations in Hokkaido and tested how many days it would take to go around them (although what we're doing is essentially a stamp rally). [Test Rules for This Time] ① Start and finish at New Chitose Airport ② Visit all 127 roadside stations in Hokkaido ③ Visit roadside stations during business hours (visiting outside business hours or on holidays is limited to a total of 10 stations) ④ Always get out of the car at roadside stations and stop at at least one facility other than the toilet (visiting outside business hours or on holidays is only allowed in the toilet) ⑤ Toll roads are prohibited. Avoid using free expressways as much as possible⑥ Leave at least 8 hours between the end of each day's driving and the start of the next day's driving⑦ Purchase goods and services at at least one roadside station per day whenever possibleIn addition, the comments on each roadside station posted in the video are what I saw, heard, and felt when I visited in June and July 2023.
