I DUE ENEMICI is a 1962 comedy film directed by Guy Hamilton, starring Alberto Sordi and Ahmed Ali' Aggi. The story takes place in Abyssinia in 1941. Major Richardson is captured by an Italian unit. During a clash with British forces, the commander of the group loses his life and is replaced by Captain Blasi. He lets Major Richardson escape, hoping that he will report to the English that it is not worth pursuing the Italian unit, given the inconsistency of the means and forces of the unit itself. But Major Richardson is actually given the task of hunting down the Italians and capturing them. The enterprise succeeds. However, at a certain point, the Italians and the English will find themselves together defending themselves from a strong group of Abyssinian rebels. They are taken prisoner by them and then released. In the meantime, the military operations in Abyssinia have ended with the victory of the English. Captain Blasi and his men are taken prisoner. At the Addis Ababa station they will come across Major Richardson's soldiers, with whom they will fraternize for the last time.
