In this video we explore what spaceship design would look like if we built them from a realistic and functional approach. Would they be like in science fiction movies? More like satellites in reality? Or so strange and exotic in shape that we would never have imagined? Well, their design and shape largely depend on the type of ship and the function it serves. In this video we will explore all the types of ships that could exist and their designs, such as Cargo Ships, Tourist Ships, Battle Ships or Surface Ships. We will also discuss the main concepts of space that need to be taken into account when designing a spaceship, such as the absence of gravity, the absence of aerodynamics, which would allow modularism, the mass-propulsion ratio of a ship and the basic needs of a crew.
