Well, what I found was mind-blowing.  In the movie, the Coleman family, with two children, wants to have a third child... but it doesn't happen. So they adopt an 8-year-old girl, named Ester. But I don't want to give you any more spoilers about the movie. Let's take a step back. What creepy story could inspire a movie like this? Barbora Skrlová's Barbora was born in the Czech Republic, and since birth she has suffered from hypopituitarism, a disease that affects the pituitary gland, located in the hypothalamus. This gland ensures that hormones function properly within the human body, so hypopituitarism disease causes a dysfunction in the distribution of hormones and can cause various problems. In Barbora's case, it affected her growth, making her constantly look like a child, even though she is about 30 years old. There is not much information about her childhood and her parents, it is only known that she was admitted to a psychiatric hospital as a child, due to her strongly psychopathic and schizophrenic behavior. Apart from this, Barbora is an extremely intelligent and cunning girl who soon learns to exploit her illness to her advantage. Thanks to the fact that she always looked like an innocent child, she manipulated people and situations, committing petty crimes. The authorities never arrested her, believing that she was a child. But one day, Barbora meets a victim with whom she realizes she can push her games really further. Currently, it is unknown where she is... and if she is impersonating other identities again.
