On New Year's Eve, heavy rain in Italy sent my phone and me into a frenzy. The Trebbia called and we followed! The project of paddling the Trebbia has been high on my bucket list since 2018 and I am all the more pleased that it finally worked out! The Trebbia is an absolute dream river with a beautiful gorge and gravel bed landscape! The high water level, the rough temperatures and the human intervention made the whole thing a real challenge. A great adventure that we will always remember fondly! We paddled from Marsaglia (km 65.5) to Piancenza (km -1.3) in 3 days in a whitewater canoe.
