Here, every year, for one morning, local producers display their stalls in boats, and customers do their shopping in boats... By offering to relive the daily life of market gardeners who, for centuries, had the boat as their only means of transport, this unique event attracts more than 5,000 visitors each year. For 10 years, Sylvie Baudouin, a producer of farm goat's cheese, has participated in this market like no other. The opportunity to discover her profession and her farm in the heart of Deux-Sèvres. The Sèvre Niortaise is closely linked to the history of Niort, so embarking on the water to discover this city is a natural fit! For several years, the tourist office has offered a guided canoe tour every summer, with Stéphanie Tézière, a tour guide.
