About :

Since the Deutsche Bahn AG preferred to scrap its decommissioned locomotives rather than sell them to private railways at a profit, these were forced to obtain powerful diesel locomotives from heritage railways or from abroad. Since the V200 was already registered in Germany, the locomotives were brought from Poland and the Czech Republic. But the machines did not have a long future in Germany.
