Many people believe that the Dacia 1100 was the first Romanian car. However, the reality is different. The story of the first Romanian vehicle dates back to the 1940s when, at the gates of the Malaxa factory in Reșita, a very interesting six-seater car came out, extremely reliable for those times and which sold excellently. The Malaxa 1C was an entirely Romanian project that, unfortunately, was taken over by the Soviets and taken, along with the factory, to the USSR.
