Who were the Arabs before Islam? This is the question of the episode. The history of the Arabs after Islam is documented in many different books and sources and is easy for you to find, but what about the Arabs before that, especially the Arab tribes and their stories, the Arabian Peninsula, and even Arabism. My guest in this episode is Abdullah Al-Humayani, the general supervisor of the “Ward” Academy, who is interested in the history of the Arabian Peninsula. He says: Arabism is a culture and a way of life, not a lineage or ethnicity, and the people of the Arabian Peninsula are the ones who are called Arabs. If Arabism is a way of life, then what is left of the Arabs before Islam? Is there anyone left from the descendants of the tribes before Islam? Who are Qahtan and Adnan? To which lineage do they go? Is the current Qahtan tribe related to Qahtan before Islam? The largest part of the episode was about the stories of the tribes and the most famous wars between them, such as the Basus War that lasted 40 years, the Dahis and Ghabra War that occurred for a simple reason and also lasted 40 years, the Fijar Wars, and the Battle of Dhi Qar between the Arabs and the Persians. Many of the stories that my guest narrates in a wonderful style. - • Download the “Radio Thmanyah” app. https://thmanyah.link/101057 • A newsletter from me, Abdulrahman Abu Maleh, and the Fنجان team, for our close podcast audience. https://thmanyah.link/8be1e3 • Share with me a guest or a topic you would like to hear on the Fنجان podcast: https://thmanyah.link/37a0c7 • Safa Investment, high-end housing solutions that meet your needs and exceed your expectations: https://thmanyah.link/561 • “Salla” is the largest e-commerce solutions platform in Saudi Arabia: https://thmanyah.link/salla • Whether you are a coffee lover prepared by professional coffee makers or prefer to prepare it at home.
