Rahman Malikli During the First Karabakh War, Shakir Iskandarov and 19 other fighters were surrounded by enemy forces and fought for survival for 54 days. During these 54 days, they settled in a narrow cave located in a mountainous region and faced both the harsh conditions of nature and the continuous pressure of the enemy. Lack of food and water, cold and difficult conditions put them to the test. During these 54 days of siege, Shakir Iskandarov and other fighters braved all kinds of difficulties to survive, relying only on their own will. During their time in the cave, they did not lose hope thanks to their team's solidarity and strong fighting spirit. Their heroic story, which lasted for 54 days, is remembered as a symbol of perseverance and love for the country.
