"A Narrative" is the title of a series of conversations that narrates the personal and social experiences of well-known Iranian personalities. This special program tries to have a sincere and closer look at the life experience of familiar faces in their own words. In another program of this series, we have a conversation with Kaveh Madani, one of the prominent environmental activists and researchers. Mr. Madani was the deputy of environmental protection in Iran for a while, but the pressures and arrests and interrogations of the security agencies forced him to resign and leave Iran. Kaveh Madani has won dozens of international awards for his efforts and scientific research on environment and water, including the "Ambassador Award of the American Geophysical Union" in 2020. This award is given to those whose sphere of influence and services go beyond the usual research space and whose achievements have had a great impact on human societies. He was also appointed as the head of the United Nations Water Think Tank not long before this conversation.
