VTC16 The Sila people were formerly called Cu De Xu, the current name Sila is self-proclaimed, no one can explain this name. They live concentratedly in Seo Hai village and Xi Thau Chai village of Muong Te district, Lai Chau province, with an estimated population of about 720 people. All houses in Seo Hai village face the village gate, the village gate is always built on the main road in the east. The Sila people believe that the early morning sunlight will bring luck, this belief has existed for hundreds of years.
