!CAREFUL! The road from Slatina (AG) to Stana lui Burnei is 38 km long. It is a forest road and is full of potholes. It is recommended to travel with a car with high ground clearance/4x4. When you reach the end of the forest road, the trail itself begins. RED triangle: Stâna lui Burnei - Valea Rea - Caldarea Văii Rele (sustained climb without technical problems) - Caldrea Văii Rele - Jezerul Moldoveanului - Portița Viștei (plateau area and then sustained climb to Portița Viștei) - Portița Viștei - Viștea Mare Peak (2527 m, steep climb, watch out for slipping, no technical problems) - Viștea Peak Mare (2527 m) - Vârful Moldoveanu (2544 m) BLUE cross: Vârful Moldoveanu)- Vârful Rusu (2,489m) – below Vf Galbena (2,419m) - Lake Galbena - Burnei's farm.
