Seibu Railway has the largest number of 2000 series trains among all its train models. They are divided into two model groups: the early 2000 series and the minor change new 2000 series. There are also several types of trains with different numbers of cars, with the 2000 series having three types: nine 2-car sets, three 6-car sets, and three 8-car sets, and the new 2000 series having four types: eight 2-car sets, 23 4-car sets, five 6-car sets, and 21 8-car sets. Some of the 2000 series trains have been scrapped for several years, but the rest are still in active service.
