Willi Bachmann, a passionate farmer and horse expert from the Pustertal. For years, Willi has been trying to continue the traditions of South Tyrol so that they are preserved for posterity. Pulling hay with horses in winter used to be a necessity so that the animals could overwinter in the stable. The Noriker breed was ideal as a draft horse and has remained a useful pet for farmers to this day. Only the way of working has changed! Today, people drive up to the alpine pastures with a tractor and collect the hay from the barn or shed. I am pleased that there are still people in South Tyrol who remain true to the tradition, even if they no longer earn anything from it! I would therefore like to thank Willi Bachmann from Winnebach very much for the good cooperation. Hubert Schönegger
