Released on April 10, 1975. When singer-songwriter Kei Ogura was working at the Akasaka branch of Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, he saw a cyclamen during a break at a client's company, a flower he was unfamiliar with, and this inspired him to come up with the song. In 1975, the song swept the big titles on music shows and awards at the end of the year, including the 17th Japan Record Awards and the Grand Prix at the FNS Song Festival. I waited until this season to sing it! Lyrics and composition: Ogura YoshinoriNothing is more refreshing than a cotton-colored cyclamenIt's like you were when we first metYou turned around as if surprised at my hesitant wordsThe seasons passed by, brushing against my cheeksNothing is more dazzling than a pale pink cyclamenIt's like you were when you were in loveWhen I hold you, bathed in the sunlight filtering through the trees, I even leave loneliness behindAnd before I know it, love has begun to walk Like a child who knows no tiresomeTime passes us byLike a child who knows no tiresomeTime passes us byLike a child who knows no tiresomeTime passes us byLike a child who knows no tiresomeTime
