In 2018, "Black Panther" was released in cinemas and experienced a strange reception: left-liberals were enthusiastic about this film, but the New Right also celebrated the Marvel production. The former is easy to explain, as people thought primarily in terms of representation and praised the diversity of the cast. The right, on the other hand, saw the film allegorically, discovering a role model in a state like Wakanda, which isolates itself in order to preserve its wealth and cultural identity. Now Ryan Coogler is bringing the second part to cinemas with "Wakanda Forever", and once again the right is likely to be satisfied with the film, which invokes the tradition of the ancestors and praises identity. In addition, anti-imperialism is only used as an excuse to cover up one's own imperialism. More on this in the film analysis by Wolfgang M. Schmitt.
