Frank Gust was nine years old when he killed his guinea pig with a concrete slab. From that point on, the future serial killer developed further cruel character traits. At 13, he broke into the morgue at Oberhausen cemetery. At 24, he killed a horse for the first time. But he didn't just kill animals. In total, the so-called Rhine-Ruhr Ripper killed four women. As early as 1994, Frank Gust hinted to his mother that he had committed murder. However, her mother did not tell a friend about it until 1999, who then alerted the police to the serial killer.
