Bison, wild horses and wild boars have been part of the Czech landscape for thousands of years. They were not only part of it, but also had a significant influence on its formation. In 2015, all three key representatives of large ungulates returned to the former military area of Milovice. After less than five years, they restored the steppe character of the landscape there and contributed to the return of a number of endangered species of plants and animals.
