The restoration of the West-Friese Praam took quite some time. The previous owner had put a piece of 1.65 meters in between. This piece was removed again. Then the entire watership was doubled and 2 longitudinal keels were placed underneath. A total of 1100 kg was placed underneath and 165 kg for the engine. So a bit more sinkage. The weight of the praam is then 2500 kg. A forecastle with doors was added. There were settees, a floor in it, an engine box around the engine, a lying Yanmar NTS 85 and benches to sit on.weerribben1
